Why an Australian Firefighters Calendar
The reasons for creating the calendar
The Australian Firefighters Calendar was established in 1993 to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation, providing funds for childhood burn research. Twenty-nine years later, the Australian Firefighters Calendar has raised over $3.4 million for various charities.
Every year, Australian firefighters pose for the good cause, a cause that changes from year to year. The calendar has also diversified and there are now several editions of it. You can choose the classic calendar but also opt for a calendar with firefighters and kittens (Cat Calendar) but also a version with horses, dogs, in denim… In short, with so many different editions, there is something for everyone!
Associations supported in 2023
The proceeds from the 2023 Australian Firefighters Calendar will go to the Australian Volunteer Firefighters Council, the Kids With Cancer Foundation, the Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, and other charities in Australia.
The Australian Firefighters Calendar will also give to Rescue Rebuild, a renovation program from Greater Good Charities that recruits volunteers across the United States to renovate animal shelters, domestic violence shelters, housing for veterans, and homeless shelters.
