Darwin

Darwin should be visited during the dry season (May to October). The markets have great food and live music. Darwin is also famous for fantastic sunsets that are wonderful to watch from the beach, e.g. from Midil, Vesteys or East Point, where many other backpackers stay. All in all, Darwin is a great city with a lot to explore and experience. The city is a great base from which to visit the famous Litchfield National Park and Kakadu.
